CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC G. PUCCINI
La Spezia
The Conservatory "Giacomo Puccini" of La Spezia has developed in recent years a strong integration between training offer, music production and research activities. Artistic research constitutes one of the cornerstones of the institute’s identity and is developed through interdisciplinary projects, didactic experimentation and constant dialogue with contemporary languages. This also includes the role of the Conservatory as location of the curriculum in Immersive Technologies applied to Music, part of the Doctorate of National Interest Artistic Research on Musical Heritage. This vision is complemented by a strong international orientation: thanks to collaborations with academic and cultural institutions across Europe and beyond, the Conservatory actively participates in research networks and shared projects. The educational objective is to prepare creative musicians, aware and capable to engage expertly with the challenges of the contemporary artistic landscape, in an intercultural and transnational perspective.
